I do love working in the garden, sort of my passion really as i like to see things correct and looking the best they can be. This ultimately take time as a garden needs constant care to maintain it and look after it. Some of the trees within our garden are still not in the best condition, but they are now in a lot better shape than when we first found the property.
There will always be something to do on a house especially an older one, i don't mind the ongoing works even though its only small items now. There will always be things that you think you can improve on, just take your time and do a little bit at a time.
After many skip loads of old black broken tiles, the new floor was laid throughout the house. And what a difference it made, made the whole house look a lot lighter and seem to have more space. The difference was quite stunning.
Overgrown hedges were removed which meant removing the hedges and then digging out all the roots, once done was worth the effort though. Even found an old dog pen in the garden which we eventually removed and made that back to grass.
Final picture in this post. All the flooring was completed now the side tiles needed to be installed. At the same time as the floor was being done two other bathrooms were also being constructed along with a single bathroom. So a lot ongoing at the same time, we even had additional piping installed for hot water when we got solar heating fitted, this was the wife's idea, and a very good one it was too.
